Clifton’s War Memorial Railings restoration completed!

The Clifton Village Community Association (CVCA) is delighted to announce the restoration of the War Memorial Railings has been completed.

The project was co-ordinated by CVCA volunteers and was made possible through funding from Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council and the CVCA.

The restoration was undertaken by GB Stonecleaning, who removed the railings in sections and restored at their workshop.

The CVCA is a registered charity and works to preserve village life, this project follows on from the presevation of the former telephone kiosk.

The Clifton Scarecrow Festival is a significant source of funding that helps the CVCA to complete projects in the village.
